Garden cress is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and D. It contains niacin, calcium, phosphorus and essential oils with antibiotic effect. It can be, thus, used as an effective means of general cleansing of the body, helping with anaemia, bronchitis and rheumatism. Thanks to the unusual shape of its leaves and the strong taste, you can appreciate it in salads. Garden cress also represents an ideal garnish for bread with butter or spread.
